Avadopts Advertising

As we know avadopts is still a relatively small site but it gets updates often.

This thread is for ideas to help advertise avadopts and to do them.

Some ideas I have to help advertise avadopts is:

A promotion video (I think 6uzie6 started to make one)
Affilatation?
Maybe put avadopts on more top sites like these:

Another thing we could do is continue to put our avadopts creatures in our signatures across forums and use click exchanges to raise our creatures so more people can see avadopts.

So, anyone here would like to help with those ideas/has more?

If anyone has a blog, they could find a way to put a link to Avadopts in every once in a while.
Same with Facebook and other sites like that.

I can make a video, I'm good at that stuff.

The best way to advertise with an adoptable site seems to be to put them in your signature on other forums.

In this case, since it's specifically geared towards Avatar fans, if there's anyone on an Avatar discussion forum, it would be great if they could add some creatures to their sig there, and maybe step up the posting, if they aren't active already. I'd offer to help, myself, by adding my own creatures to my sig, but I'm mostly on roleplay forums, not discussion forums. XD

Well, speaking from experience, I usually flock to an adoptables site that has creatures that I want, and I find those by what I see in peoples signatures. I don't go out looking for stuff, I just let it hit me, and if I like it enough then I'll sign up.
I don't know if that's how the majority of people come to these sites, but if it is then the best way to advertise is to get more creatures done so that more people are likely to recognize one and go "Ooooh! I know what that is! It's so preeeety!" and come over and join up.

That being said, I can't wait for the new creatures to be released soon--I'm dying for some of them.

And what Skie said. Just steadily adding onto the site is great.. Which brings me to another point. Don't try to release everything all at once. Be gradual about it, because I'd rather not run out of things to release, then be left with disappointed members. :D

Ok, for anyone who makes a video, you must include a few things.

1. You must show the Black market. (The rare and exotic creatures, trading post, etc)
2. Show all the different nations and the eggs in them.
3. Show them the abandoned island.
4. Maybe show them a quest?


Try to make the video "grab" people into avadopts and make them interested in it.

Ugh, I can't show them a quest because I have completed all of them. Though I can try to show them the Library Fox quest somewhat.
