Egg Contest!

Lots of people need certain breeds or genders of Avadopts critters. Trades are nice, gifts are better, and contests are just fun! So here in this thread, hopefully about once a week, Kazamagirl and/or myself will put up a contest for the rest of you to enjoy, as well as an egg or a hatchling for a prize! Mostly the contests will be easy, but as this progresses, you might see them start to become a little more challenging. ^_^ We'll start the first contest today, it's a simple question to answer. You can always find the current contest and the current prize at the end of this post.

Of course there are rules to any good contest, and here they are.
RULES:
-Answers should be posted here, in the thread. Prizes will be given out on a first-come-first-serve basis.
-Anyone who wins a contest will not be allowed to win the next three contests. This prevents people from monopolizing the prizes! Basically, it means you can win one prize a month. Sounds fair, right?
-Anyone who steals a prize from someone else will be banned from the contest. This means if you know a drop is going to happen, and you swoop into the Abandoned Shack and steal the egg from the contest winner, you're a jerk and you won't get anything from us ever. Don't be a jerk.
-Anyone caught cheating will be banned from the contest.
-If you know the answer ahead of time, you can't play! The more people that help us do the contests, the better. If we get a lot of people behind the scenes, we can do big things! Of course, if you know the answer or solution to any contest ahead of time, it's only fair that you can't participate. However, even if you are one of our helpers, you can still participate in any contest that we don't discuss with you.

You have to be specific, but not specific to each one. ^____^! Also, you're not on the right track yet, but keep trying!

I got Momo and Ichigo down, I guess. Ume sounds familiar too. And Mikan. Say, isn't Mikan orange/mandarin orange/tangerine? Or am I mistaken? xD

Well, there really isn't any way that I can stop anyone from using Google. ^_^ Also, I'd be impressed if anyone got the answer to this one without it.

Neither of us will give out any hints unless, for some reason, a couple of days pass and no one has gotten it. But it should be pretty easy once you figure out the pattern!

Ringo=famous English singer, right? Stage name=flying lemur. Right.

Wait, either that, or it's Yuu's character in a manga (that I have yet to read).

Budou=from same said manga, and a character from a mini-drama.

All the others are from the same drama/manga, amirite? xD Except for Momo and a few others. xD

ichijiku=song or someone. D: Definitely Japanese though xD

Anzu=Yu-Gi-Oh! I knew her name was familiar. xD

Mikan=Not orange-related xD Gakuen Alice.

Nashi=a youth movement, a story, an author of fanfiction for Naruto and Bleach. :/

Kaki=Musician and composer! This is her stage name. That's all I found, though xD

Suika=From Touhou, and Oni. <3 Cute.

Sakuranbo=a song, or part of a title of a manga. :/

Ume=Chinese plum/Japanese apricot. ^^'

Oh, poo. I was too late. *just noticed thread AFTER contest was closed* And I woulda figured it out too. I knew momo, ringo, and ichigo were fruit names in Japanese. XD Oh well. Next week. :3

Don't worry, there will be plenty more opportunities to get prizes as soon as Kazamagirl and I rebuild our zoos. You can expect some dragons at the very least (and hopefully some serpents and lion turtles) within the week. :)

Oh, joyus! I love dragons. And getting another serpent and lion turtle would be most excellent as well. XD Can't wait~ c:
