Egg Freezing Limit
I'm really happy that egg freezing got implemented, but I think there should be limits on it. It can easily be abused by other players. So maybe there could be a time limit, like you can only freeze X amount of eggs in the span of Y days, or a fee you have to pay like when you abandon a creature.

I say you should only be able to freeze 3 eggs a week and you have to wait 5 hours before after you get an egg before you can freeze it.

I'll add the five hours mark and a fee. I think that would do it.DragonTamerChris wrote:ChuChu wrote:I'm really happy that egg freezing got implemented, but I think there should be limits on it. Just don't get too over enthusiastic about the limits or the fee. It is one thing that really bugs me about Dragon Cave is the fact that I have to budget out how many freezes I can have over a 2 week period. I'm one of those that wants to freeze one of every stage of everything so my collection is complete and the limits get in the way of that. Especially since you don't have time limits set on how long it takes to raise an egg, or time limits on how long before an egg/hatchie dies. DC, every egg takes a minimum of 6 days to raise without using any special commands. Here, I can power level eggs from birth to adulthood in minutes through Yarules. This system is easy to abuse anyway, so these limits won't really change that or prevent it happening.

The creatures being adults has no effecting factor on the restrictions we have for freezing. o.O

Re: Egg Freezing Limit
No need to get snappy. If you read it correctly it says that there will be a little fee that one must pay (What, 150 GP at MOST?) and you will have to wait five hours for an individual egg to be freezable. Not like "You may only freeze one egg every 5 hours" We don't roll like that. Would you like me to make creatures be able to get leveled up every 15 minutes so that you can't "Power-Level" it up?Eluin wrote:Just don't get too over enthusiastic about the limits or the fee. That'd be very annoying and confusing Rebs. O.o
Maybe they should have to wait 3-5 hours before they can become an adult even if they are level 70?

Idk, it is true that you can powerlevelup within seconds... I've done it with hydra and utopia. :/ We need some sort of challenge. Why do you think some users are getting bored?

Still, it would get really annoying to wait 15 minutes for your creature to get leveled up, it wouldn't work well for forum click exchanges and stuff. D:

Realy really really didn't mean to come off snappy. At all. Tone does not travel well over the internet. I love the fact that I can play this game all day and always have something to do. It frustrates me that on DC, no matter how many times I have time to log in, there is only so much I can do in one day that counts as productive. Everything else is just refreshing and wishing it was 3 days later so that something would hatch. I don't want to see things here change too much, only because your system is so much nicer than the one in place with DC. I like being able to level things quickly so I can see what the new drops turn into and catch more eggs more quickly. It means that my zoo is growing a lot faster than my scroll ever has.
