Re: Ostrich Horse
I don't mean to grave-dig here or anything, but I had felt like doing the legs here, found time to, and therefore did ^^;
That one is simply Reb's original with the foot finished and legs shaded ^^ I didn't mean to cross my boundries here, but I also did some of my own shading on another ^^; Hope that is alright Reb, if you end up using either, it certaintly doesn't have to be the following one ^^;
I hope to do more sprites for this site later on Wolfbats, perhaps? ^^ I'd enjoy them.

Re: Ostrich Horse
I enjoy that very much, actually. Did you change the eye too? Because it looks a bit different. :/
But I like the shading. -nods- Though it's left foot is a bit... odd. I was going to say that I feel like you're missing a toe there, but that's not the case. The foot seems to be face-on with the viewer, which makes it look like it's at an awkward angle for that current pose... Not to mention it makes the foot look flat (as does the head a bit, but that's not as big of a problem). Would it be possible to turn the left foot inward, so that we get more of an angle on it, and we can see the back toe as well?

Yes, I did change the eye as well ^^ And sure, I'll change the foot when I have a minute, and update it here ^^ I might adjust the shading on the head as well, if I think I can find a good way to make it less flat-looking. Thanks for the critique!

No prob! I love the change you made to the eye, and I can't wait to see what you finish next.

I love it, but on the foot that is pointing to us, there is a little part sticking out. In my eye, it looks akward.

Re: Ostrich Horse
Cool ^^ Glad to hear my attempt is appreciated! I think I'll fix the ostrich horse on Wednesday, and hopefully also start another sprite, though it depends on how busy my schedule ends up being. But, now that I think about it, we require the other levels, don't we? I can try them, if that would be alright ^^ I liked KonayukiSpirit's ideas, so I'd probably go according to them.
Oh, and also, about the 'point' by the foot, I agree, it does look a little awkward. I'll change that too ^^ After staring at it so long, I didn't really notice.

Re: Ostrich Horse
Alright ^^ Edited the adult ostrich horse, both the foot and the face. However, I can't decide whether or not the more shaded face makes it ugly ^^;
So, here's both, old face first (left), than new.
I think I'm gonna start on some of the other 'levels' now ^^ I'll add those when I'm done as well.

Wow! Perfect! Amazing! XD
I love the shaded face better. It makes it more complete and gives more depth kind of. X3 Can't wait to see what else you have up ur sleeves. XD

The new face, definitely. It gives it more depth. It's amazing. And I adore what you did with the foot. It looks so much more natural now. Wonderful job!

It's awesome. I like the right one the most. Now we have to get eggs and hatchlings.

Re: Ostrich Horse
Sorry, I've been doing other stuff, so I haven't worked on these guys much. However, I thought I'd show my mature hatchling, which I've coloured but not shaded. If you have any critiques for this guy, please say so, as its easier to fix it before I shade.
I'll finish these once I've caught up on all my other duties.

Re: Ostrich Horse
I love it. Only one thing is bothering me, the back wing looks like it is attached to the body. I think you can fix it by shading it, but it bothers me.

Re: Ostrich Horse
Rebsingh - Thanks! Need to hurry up and finish so they can be added to the site ^^;
DemonAshley - If you feel like it, feel free to give it a shot If you don't want to, though, I'll be making one ^^
DarkNymfa - Hm, I see what you mean. I'll adjust it some and see if it helps.
Thanks for the input and what not, guys! ^^

i still got s2 polarbeardogs tobe sketched so if you could do the hatchie here that'd be faster maybe?
Re: Ostrich Horse
Finished the mature hatchling! Couldn't manage to maintain the same type of shading, but hopefully its decent. Also, changed the size of the adult so that there isn't extra white-space.
I've started the ungendered hatchling, though I'm still fiddling with the colour. Any opinions on the pose, though? Any he/she has intentionally strange(r) proportions, as I figured young 'uns are usually that way.
EDIT: Oops! Hahaha, I just realized I have an extra toe on this guy's left foot, seeing as the creatures in the show (unlike actual ostrich), in fact only have two toes. I'll fix that, so you don't need to point in out in the case that you noticed this as well.
