Milestones

I thought we could have a reward system. The rewards would be based on certain milestones that you reach or do on the site. For each one you complete, you get a trophy or badge plus a reward. The harder the milestone you accomplish, the greater the reward.

The trophies or badges would be below the links in the header and the user information. Or you can simply put a link to them there instead.

I only have a few milestones in mind at the moment:

1. Mini Zoo- Have 50 creatures in your zoo.
2. Medium Zoo- Have 150 creatures in your zoo.
3. Grande Zoo- Have 500 creatures in your zoo.
5. Supreme Zoo- Have 3000 creatures in your zoo.
6. Best Seller- List and successfully sell 100 creatures.
7. Nation Hunter- Collect the starters from all 4 nations.
8. Master Hunter- Collect one of every creature.
9. Soulless- Kill at least one creature.
10. Black Heart- Abandon 30 creatures.
11. Quest Knight- Complete every quest.

That's all I can think of so far.

That sounds interesting.

Oh and here are some I thought of:

Bussiness Man: Get 100,000 Gp off of selling creatures.
Event Partaker: Get 3 event creatures.
Creature Hunter: Collect 20 diffrent creatures
Donater: sell a starter creature for 1 GP at the trade station
Rich Person: Buy a rare creature from the "exotic and rare creatures"
Risk Taker: Bet 50,000 GP in the pirate gamble and win GP

Also: Maybe it shoden't be all quests since new ones come out, like as time goes by we make new ones so the quest one could start out as complete 5 quests. (We only have 4 right now)

Well, Quest Knight shouldn't come around until all the quests have been coded and put in the game, that's what I had in mind when I posted it. XD

Here's one for a new member:

Zoo Keeper- Activate your account and obtain your first starter.

What will rewards be?

I think it would be like GP, maybe a quest map or certian items, rare creatures, and stuff like that.

Also:

Creature helper: Level up 100 creatures that aren't yours in one day.
Creature trainer: Level up 500 creatures that aren't yours in one day.
Creature nursery: Level up 1,000 creatures that aren't yours in one day.

Hm, those remind me of another website's achievements, but I can't remember which one.
Edit: Now I remember, Squiby has those type of achievements.

As for rewards? Yeah, what you mentioned is what I had in mind.

Maybe it could be like displayed on the users zoo page or would it be an external link? like avadopts.com/achievements.php?user=ignite444
or something.

Or maybe little badges and there could be a badge guide page to tell you what is what?

Both ideas have merit. *Rubs chin* The second idea would be a lot easier for you if you want to take that route.

Oh, and, they should be called "Milestones" because just about every other site uses the word "Achievements." They pretty much mean the same.

You say you'll make lots of stuff (i.e. Shirshu) but you don't fulfill it... can you try to fulfill this time?

Hm, I can try to make some as well, but I'll have to think of some ideas.

I made some for creature amounts: Or maybe they could literally be STONES. Milestones. Like stones engraved with the achievement?

And how are the badges?

I like the ones you made for the creatures rebs.

I think the stones idea would be cool.

Those are great Rebs. I would make the numbers more legible though.

Eh... Stone tablets for only a few milestones, not all. I really like the rounded stones.

They are all supposed to be lopsided because the stone is rounded. XD You can try fixing them up if you want.

what about for individual creatures? A milestone for getting a creature to level 100, 500, 1000, etc.

For collecting one of every creature, should that be limited to commons or non-event creatures? It seems like it could get sticky because right now there's not so many but eventually there will be lots and things like the black dragons will be impossible to come by for later joiners. Which would be frustrating.

How about we make different things depending on what type of achievement it is?
Also do you want those badges/trophies/stones to accomodate or would say the 100 stone replace the 50 one?

The milestones would keep replacing each other. Say that on a zoo, there are 3 milestones they achieved: creature one, quest one, and buying a creature from the BM.

The creature one would update whenever you get the said amount of creatures. The quest one would update with the amount of quests done and so on.

That sounds good, otherwise they would take up too much space. But I propose that we be able to see past milestones that we got so we can see the previous badges.

Make higher Gen critters more valuable by giving badges for breeding certain Gen critters.

Oh, we will get a gen 10 creature in the future sometime, lol. Especially for rare creatures.
