Probably a few changes

Okay, we have a copyright infringement and a few trolls from DC. >.> I'm the first to give in, I guess. I think we need to change some things, minor things.

Like the layout. Let's start with that. ^^ We can lose the scroll layout, since it seems to tie us to stealing from DC.

And the fog action, since it's quite useless. Maybe we could replace the mystery egg sprites with these, and I can come up with a description for it, like, "You enter the land but a fog blinds you..." or something.

.___. I just want this site to grow without the need to respond to all those "You're stealing!" things, and maybe give it some more originality.

Yes, you can flame me to death, too, if you think it's bad.

I for one agree completely with changing the scroll layout. And while our creatures don't get sick from getting too many any clicks at once, I also don't see the need for the fogging either, but it would be cool if the fog replaced the egg. All-n-all I think there both good ideas to shut the 'you're stealing from DC' trolls up >>

I've seen plenty of sites using scrolls for layouts. >.> DC people can be real jerks sometimes, even though I play it. I don't ever go to the forum but to look for updates.

If we could make different layouts for different pages, that would be nice, but probably hard to code. So, maybe, you know, in the opening of each episode, they have four different people showing off their skills, so if we patched them all together, that could serve as header/footer. The scroll thing can be used for the Explore part, since there's nothing wrong with it...

That really depends on how complicated the coding is to begin with. But I agree that the easiest thing to do would be just to have different headers, rather than different layouts altogether.

When I first came to the site the setup (more than the layout) reminded me of Dragon Cave, but it's not like they originated the concept. Scroll layouts and adoptables sites have been around longer than they have. I tend to stay away from the forums too. I'm not quite fond of the attitude there, especially the artists "I am your GOD" mentality.

I've really had no problem with the members there. Or I just stay away from debates or something. The only time I've been unjustified was when a mod told me I was being rude. :/

Maybe we can make the forums a green link on the bottom, so it'll be less DC-like? :/
