Quest repeats no|yes?

Hi,
can a quest be repeated if the original reward creature is sold off/abandoned so that it's not in your zoo anymore?
(trying to figure out if there is any way to get an opposite color koi fish then the one picked at quest completion... other then stalking the black market, as there are never any for sale)

As far as I know, nope. Sorry. :( If you want another quest creature, you'll have to look around for one in the trading post, or try The Gifting Land, though I regret to say that it doesn't get much use since not being updated. Of course, I did advertise in my signature that I was looking for a female library fox, and I got a few offers after a couple of days.
