I found this confusing too, but I think all it means is that one should not use any HTML tags OUTSIDE the font-editing tags that are specified there. (Don't quote me on this if Reb has something entirely different in mind, though.)

I don't want to wreck my zoo, y'know? Maybe I'll wait a little longer or do something over in MS and copy and paste it here? That way I could preview it first.

Pretty much anything you want to do to your font, you can do here in any post to any thread just by using the buttons up above the text box on the "Post a reply" page. Just click the options you want (like the bold button, the italics button, the size button) and you'll get the appropriate BBCode tags. To turn a BBCode (forums) tag into an HTML (website) tag, change the [ ] to < >. Then you can copy/paste that into the message bar.

In that case, the proper term to use would be href tags, or just url tags. If I might make a suggestion to the word choice. Or even just saying "Don't post links" would work.

Edit: Perhaps there could be a guide somewhere, on the site or on the forums, explaining what tags are allowed, and how to use them?

I'm going to do a check for links pretty soon. and image tags. so everyone better take out their links I'm also going to disable link and image tags in the messages. If you try to set it, it'll be like "NO!" if you have the tag in there lol XD
