Re: Trading Post Completed.
im very sorry T_T....i was trying to clean out the trading post of the billion eggs at 50..because it just seemed to clog it for nothing..
...then i just developed an habit of clicking cheap stuff <_<.. chris ninja'ed me to saying. i was going to tell you when you got on the irc ;o...
Feel free to delete them.
(In a way, im punishing myself with those eggs because i can't grab anything/breed. I just wish they'd either hatch or poof or something)

Re: Trading Post Completed.
I think I added an extra 0 or two by mistake on one of my creatures in the Trading post. Err Ooops?
I also spent all my hard worked GP on a Zombie Plty. I wasn't thinking I just cliked buy thinking I don't have enough and loe and behold I did. (But I've also found a more proficient way of gaining GP then I've been using previously)

Look at this:
http://www.avadopts.com/view.php?code=4576
This is dead Platypus Bear. helena has bought it yesterday at Trading Post. Yes, it looked like the gravestone. Is that some sort of bug or... dead creatures can be sold?

Can you tell me how/what happened? I can't just fix a problem without clues to how it happened.
Re: Trading Post Completed.
owo well my eggs have all hatched now it seems...
I think they bought an undead egg, and when it got on their account it was a ''dead'' creature instead. Im not sure what exactly happened because it didn't happen to me O;

Huh, it said it died from a disease. Is that even possible?

I think died from disease is when you dip it in the bucket and it failed...though im not sure.

Re: Trading Post Completed.
Yeah, but when that happens, the egg is supposed to disappear. It might just be a glitch of some sort.

I can tell about helena's "shopping".Rebsingh wrote:Can you tell me how/what happened? I can't just fix a problem without clues to how it happened.

Helena visits Trading Post.
She sees the gravestone among other creatures.
She clicks it (maybe out of curiosity).
Gravestone goes to her zoo.
And now she doesn't know what to do with that strange purchase (and why she's purchased it).
I'll ask her if she wants it to be deleted.
We can't kill or abandon (or name, or level up) our creatures during the trade, right?

This is an odd situation. O.o You shouldn't be able to sell dead creatures.

Re: Trading Post Completed.
I updated the trading post page. Check it out and tell me how you like it.
Re: Trading Post Completed.
nice! I like the information provided, it's very helpful
Any chance we can get 2 rows of critters, so we see 10 at a time?

The extra information helps a lot and creatures don't stick out of row, wchoch looks very neat.
Although if there will be more and more creatures traded, it may take a lot time to take a look at each and every of them. Or to quickly find anything of interest.
Nevertheless you did an excellent job, Reb. Thank you very much.

I like the new look a lot better.
I also sold my first creature in the Trading section.
I wonder who bought my 1st gen Library fox?

It was Pixiequeen (I looked at your male fox page and clicked the child code "Children: (5891)")Atuin wrote:I wonder who bought my 1st gen Library fox?

The Trading Post looks great. It's good to see the levels and genders of the creatures.

Reb, why is it possible to abandon or kill our creatures when they're at the Trading Post?

My little experiment a.k.a. Adventures of Penguin Egg. I took the penguin egg, sent it to the TP (555 GP), then I named it (Guinea Penguin), abandoned it, saved it from the pound and took it out of the TP.
I think that after sending the creature to the TP we must have only one action: "Withdraw trade"
I understand why DragonTamerChris and helena were able to buy dead egg and gravestone - because the sellers killed those creatures during the trade.
Btw helena would like to delete that gravestone from her zoo. Can you delete it please?

Re: Trading Post Completed.
I just love the new information on the trading post! Thanks so much, Reb! I like shopping there very much; there are so many different kinds of creatures. Mind you, I don't think the common ones should be there because it makes it more work to find the good deals with the rare creatures (but that's my own preference). That being said I must shamefully admit to having bought some ravens there because it was so hard to find them otherwise.
Now I have a pair of foxes that I hope to breed. They are so cute; I'd love to have a ton!
And I now have an otter bear, thanks to the trading post.
I am a very, very happy camper!
