Completely agree with this; please don't kill them - your scroll in the Park will say "killed by owner" or something similar. (Yes, I know they're only pixels; I just get sentimental about creatures I've hatched and raised.) Too bad they couldn't be dual-gendered beasties. Then they could be whichever gender you needed for pairs. (Probably a coding nightmare; but just a random thought). Then everyone would be happy with what they have.

Only 4? Aw man... I hope I get 2 females and 2 males... I just wish my adult hadn't been deleted.

Question, if we breed them and get a black dragon from that breeding, it won't count against our limit will it?

he might've disabled breeding if there is a 4 limit.

but itd be cool to breed them...(and lock them in our scrolls so we cannot abandon/release.)

No, we can breed them, I just did a little bit ago. It's not going to be a black dragon though.

Ok, I've had to grow the dragons only to have to abandon one because the gender was wrong. What happens if the next batch are wrong, too? It takes so long to grow them, could we please have a bit of a time extension just to get a breeding set (2m/2f)? Even if it's like 4 more hours, that would really make a difference to those people whose dragons are coming up all male (or all female) since there's no current way to trade them? pretty, pretty please?

The black dragons aren't coming out so that everyone can get a breeding set. That isn't the point of the drop and it wasn't Reb's goal in setting it. Maybe just focus on being sure that you have four black dragons when the drop ends, and be grateful for them no matter what gender they are, since they won't be coming back at LEAST for a long, long while.

I am very grateful for the privilege of even owning one, please don't misunderstand that. I just thought the main idea of a collectible site is to collect, breed, and trade creatures with one another. Not to worry, at some point down the line I'm sure trades will be available, so if it doesn't turn out to be a match, I can get one later one via a trade.

Right now I'm going to focus my energies on doing the quests, collecting more creatures and breeding the pair of dragons I do have (once they mature). I look forward to see what other surprises and new creatures this site will be bringing out in the coming weeks and months.

Drops have ended. The black dragons that were still in there will remain until they are taken. Then new creatures will come on in.

Finalmente~ (Sorry to those who didn't get one. Erm.) I just want to finally get a Sea Raven. (It makes me so happy to see them. I'm sorry. XDD)
BUT I am VERRRRY grateful as well for this special event of gaining black dragons, yes. Don't get me wrong. u-u *hugs her black dragons**and is sooo glad she came back the time she did*

You are so lucky! I have 4 males in the first batch, abandoned 2, got 2 more males, abandoned them as well, now I've got one ungendered one and a female (finally!!!!). My red dragon is male, too. I hope to be able to breed some more once they mature.

what's the new creatures?

I had to keep dropping female dragons and gaining new eggs to get an even number. Boy that was annoying.

Aw well, I finally got one, lol.

my dragons are only just now at a few levels left befor gendering, I don't really care what gender they go with though my main care for them is to be able to get the quest done they can be used for.

Me, too! I dropped about 5 males. Finally got a female and one hatchling isn't gendered yet, so I'm hoping it's a girl.

just because I had so much homework I couldn't visit the site for a couple days

at what i remember they are always there just very rare to find compared to the other types.

Black dragons are only released for special events; Reb has said before that he plans to release only a few black dragons every year. You cannot get them as a starter dragon, and you cannot buy them from the Black Market, at least not yet, unless Reb does another special event. But there will almost certainly be others.

oh must have been missreading some thing then.

once my gender i wont mind giving you one of the duplicate, even if they can't breed i still want one male and one female (to me all males need a female, lol even if a female don't need them)

it np to me, i have someone trying to get me male fox and i not that big on have duplicate like that, i usually happy with male and female pair.
