For the ones that are not even started, is it okay for another person to start doing some sketches on them? I'm in a drawing mood, but kind of blocked right now on anything new and origional for myself. I think I might be able to help with some of these though and it might get the creative juices flowing again. I just don't want to step on any toes or steal someone else's work.

Umm, the cabbage slug was already completed. XD (If you look on the wiki there is a quest coming soon for it. :p)

I don't really see the point of this, there is the progress list after all... Also, not all the creatures that appear in a place in avatar the last airbender will appear there in avadopts.

Oh what I mean is how the iguana seals appear in the fire nation in avatar the last airbender, but here they mainly appear in the water tribe.

The only creatures we are making up before we have all the avatar the last airbender creatures so far are the ones that will be in a future contest thread for different animal hybrids for avadopts. And, of course event creatures.

Thanx very much Rebsingh. Nice comment. Very Happy BTW this is a list of all the creatures in the Avatar the last Airbender Universe. This will get updated if there is a new season. Anyways this is kind of a progress list but also a list that helps people know where all the creatures go. Example: Somebody likes the idea Camelephant but doesn't know where it is, they can just go on my list and see that it belongs in the Earth Nation deserts. See. pirat And that there is already a topic made for the Started creatures so that people don't make another one just like somebody did with the Iguana Seals. Wink

Library Fox is in the avatar world. When are raven eagles, octopus, and night crawler mentioned or seen in the avatar universe?
Dog is never mentioned or see in the series, only polar-bear dog is.
From what I can tell bull big does not exists in the avatar universe, they are never mentioned or seen in the series.
Chicken should be komodo chicken, chickens are never mentioned or seen in the avatar world.
I think Glow Fly is started
Bearded cat is started
Cat is started (see the thread called Persian Cat)
Meadow Vole is started

Also, it's not a fish hippo, it's a flying fire breathing cow hippo in Aang's dream

"You are fishing for an octopus, my nephew. You need a tightly-woven net..." Iroh, Siege of the North Part 1 (?)

Raven Eagle=Combustion Man's bird that took out the Hawk carrying the message of Aangs survival. Don't recall the episode, but it's been called Raven Hawk, too, and probably other names.

Don't remember Night Crawlers any more than being pretty sure that they were mentioned at least once...

Flying Fish-Optamus is the name that Wikia used, it may not describe the creature but it is a known name for it.

Wrong.

Avatar extras(the show, but with more info) called it a flying fire breathing cow hippo, which is it's actual name. Why would a flying fire breathing cow hippo be called a flying fish optamus? that doesn't even make sense

We must be talking about different things, the flying fish thingy was not in the show.

Two more animals to add to the list
Phoenix: Weather it is a myth or a real creature is not clear, what is clear is that the fire nation is familiar with it, so I think it deserves a place on the list
Pony: Katara called Soka “ponytail guy” or something like that in one of the episodes.

A Phoenix is a myth but I think that would be a great creature for Avadopts. Smile
Katara only called sokka a ponytail guy because he had a ponytail not because there was some kind of pony in avatar TLA that had a tail that looked like Sokka's hair. o3o

I was thinking of starting a Phoenix topic. It is a creature mentioned after all.
